It’s so nice to look back at each school year, or each calendar year with the books that you’ve read. Why should you keep track of the books you’ve read? ‘Give your Child the World’ by Jamie Martin is another favorite for book recommendations with culture and global diversity. I really loved her discussion questions too. Sarah Mackenzie’s book ‘Read Aloud Family’ has great book recommendations for each age. I truly hope my kids become readers when they grow up, and one of the best ways to do that is to read to them. Literature based homeschooling is something we strive for in our homeschool. Enjoying book discussions after we’ve finished the book, and even watching the movie version and comparing is part of our brave writer lifestyle.
